Using a robotic system in Physics experiments
The project involves the use of a robotic system in the implementation of Physics experiments. In the lab, the students set and program a dedicated robot to undertake a proposed experiment and obtain the resulting data. Protocols were developed for these specific experiments. The students executed the experiments and the results were satisfactory. The best results we obtained in the demonstration of Newton´s third Law, the Law of Mechanical Energy Conservation, and in an experimental activity that showed the difference between kinetic and static friction.
We now propose to show a presentation with the results of the project and some robots built by the students, which were used in these experiments.
